Default What do you guys think about this for 1k

Ok ive been looking for a engine what do you guys think about this for 1 grand. I've posted this on another fourm but wanted some more input on it.


eagle nodular iron crank 3.750",5.7 gm pink rods,keith black .60 over pistons,hasting racing rings,clevitte 77 racing bearings,lt4 hydrolic roller lifters,lt4 cam off 96 vette (not the hotcam)comp cam double springs,milidon full windage tray aka diamond stripper,melling high volume pump with mlidon pick up tube, 7 qt stroker pan,gm performane timing set,cloyes double roller chain,alluminum underdrive pulley, alluminum keyed crank hub,arp rod bolts,arp cam bolts,arp main stud kit,arp head bolts, arp oil pan stud kit,pacesetter long tubes with copper gaskets,ported and descreened maf,g2 fuel pressure regulator adjustable, thats all I could think of I'll also throw in a more agressive comp cam 305

I don't like the 60 over part. I'm not sure about a 350 but I know that going 60 over in a 305 causes cooling problems.

Yeah 60 over is alot and the eagle cast cranks are crap you better off with stock.

sounds like a stock motor .060 over.....plus there is a lot of misleading info....."gm performance timing set, cloyes double roller," plus the cc305 is the more aggressive cam?? Sounds like too much money to me.....and at .060 there is potentially no more room for a rebuild if need be...

Crank is worthless, I had the same crank munch the thrust bearing.

Which KB pistons, if they are the 5/64th rings don't use them, too large a ring.

Wouldn't give 50 bucks for that fail of an engine build.

.060 over is fine. People make it out to be a bigger deal than it is. But that crank is certified ******* junk, KB pistons are cheap *** junk, and God only knows if the machine work was done correctly.

60 over means jack ****, but for that build tell him 500 bucks and just drive it the way it is. Meantime build you a nice motor
