Nitrous Outlet LT1 plate & TPIS 58mm, mechanical art, it begins! (Updated 02-18-11)
I have posted a couple of pics before on the TPIS 58mm, but wanted to document the beginning of installing the TPIS with a Nitrous Outlet LT1 plate setup. I finally have placed my last order for all the incidentals and parts needed to start installing my wet kit. I have went to great lengths to purchase about every item I can think of to protect the stock bottom end (that's right I said stock bottom and wet kit in the same paragraph). Over the years I have acquired a bunch of different parts and its finally time to clear off the dust and put the items on the car I will update this thread as I finish different parts of the system.
TPIS 58mm has a brand new IAC valve and TPS sensor. I still can't get over how beautiful the craftsmanship is on this part. Ultimately I will start off with a 100 shot and work my way into a 150/75ish wet shot. I've got alot of safety features to put on the car that are high tech for an old LT1, but I'm curious how far I can take the stock block full bolt-ons and factory weight WS6? If it blows then I finally have a reason to build the motor.
Here are some teaser pics:

looks familiar...Im sure you'll be happy with it!
The only Problem I ran into was having it grind on the waterpump houseing and the IAC housing to get it all to fit in there. NitrousOutlet said it was common especially with milled heads.
Good luck with the install, post lots of pictures!

merim123: bling, bling
355z28: I don't have any problems with fitment. It probably has to do with the fact that the TPIS use an extremely small IAC body. I've got great clearance around the water neck and everything else in the are. TPIS also gets rid of the pass through ports that most other companies require you to use or cap off (like the stock TB).
Xposure: I bought the plate from Speed INC on sale. $260 shipped. TPIS throttle body was $435 (IIRC). I have a combination of nitrous equipment so the pricing will probably not give you an accurate reflection of the cost. If you want Nitrous Outlet's complete kit I think it is $749 for the LT1 including plate. There are certainly other items you will want that will drive the price up.
I'm going to put a complete list of all the items that I have installed or waiting to be installed soon.

I started comprising a list of everything that is already installed or needs to be:
Nitrous Outlet: LT1 plate, LT1 solenoid plate, Nitrous (using the larger noid), Fuel & Purge solenoids, hard line kit to plate, Fuel pressure safety switch (4AN)
MSD: DIS 4 (using the timing retard & 2 step with a latch circuit)
DynoTune: 10lb bottle (4AN setup), bottle opener, heater pad, billet bottle mount, heater controller, purge (billet dual outlet 4AN), A/F cutoff, wideband gauge (red led), N2O pressure (red led), and Nitrous microcenter with led's
Pro Lite: 8AN blowdown kit (black) with black nylon hose. This is routed to the passenger rear spare tire area. A bulkhead is used to vent the nitrous to the ground in the event the burst disc fails.
NX: NX maximizer II, NX bottle controller, I will be using a laptop to setup the files for this device. Lots of cool stuff you can do with this controller.
Snow's Performance: Methanol with the progressive controller
I think this covers the lion's share of what I have to install. Some items are in the car and installed, others need to be wired. I'm really curious to lean on the stock LT1 and just see how nasty I can get this car to run on the stock block, heads, & cam
I'm thinking that using the larger nitrous outlet noid it should hit a lot harder on the 150/75 shot or greater if it does not spill its guts
AC Hotrod: Thanks for the props!
Here are a few updated pics of the plate, bracket, throttle body mounted.

ThirdGenVert: I would have to agree about the hard line kit being the cleanest in the business.
SCJ: That's a whole different project that is sitting in boxes
I8ASaleen: I want 2 car lengths and the hit when we run
robsquickz28: Thanks for the comps
I called Nitrous Outlet and Speed inc today and ordered a few odds & ends (mostly just specific fittings for the nitrous setup. I also put together my blowdown kit today. I need to install the bulkhead in the passenger rear sometime in the next day or two.
