Screeching noise coming form tb???
Hey guys i got a sreeching noise coming from what i hear inside my tb, i put my ear in the intake and sounds loud like its sucking in too much air. Could it be my throttle body gasket? My bolts are tight. Idk what it is, it also does it at idle and at low speeds, but really loud on cold starts. Any advice will help. Hope to get it fixed tonight.
Thanks guys!!!

Im runnin a stock tb just P&P.
I took off my tb yesterday too see if it was the gasket. But it looked fine. So I decided to look at the IAC sensor and it was like all drity like had gunk all over it. So i cleaned it off. Now the noise is really low not as noticable in park or in drive at idle. But You where right when i opened the blade a lil it went away. So im pretty sure the gunk was causeing it. Cause it looks like the sensor is spring loaded, therefore the gunk was causeing it too not close well im guessing? some one correct me if im wrong and explain what that senor really does.

It just opens/closes to let more/less air flow through when the tb blade is closed since the engine always needs to be fed air, when not enough is going through the stock hole drilled in the blade.

Man thats what it sounded like ha ha. But it sounds better now. My hole in my blade was big, cause i bought it off some guy that had a cam in his car. So i just used ducktape to plug up the hole. Cause it would idle all high. So do u think cause i coverd the hole it makes my IAC open and make that noise?
