Default What constitutes as abuse

In EDIT I see the Abuse Mode windows and tables. What triggers the Abuse made to pull timing?

Bump...

I'm curious too.

I have a side question here...

My settings in HPTuners:

Abuse Mode RPM: 1500
Abuse Mode %TPS: 5
Abuse Mode Speed: 255 (MPH)

Is abuse mode "turned off" because of the 255mph speed?

I believe so. I had heard this somewhere else before.

In the engine tab in Edit it says:
If RPM > xxxx and
if MPH < yyy

In the Trans tab it has RPM, %tps, and MPH, but no indication if < or > is used.

I just zero out the tq reduction table for abuse mode...

There is engine abuse, and there is transmission
abuse. I got into some funky "stuff" with some of
these tables and zeroing one, does not save the
other from acting. I haven't gotten a good
explanation yet, just some hints. I will have to
go back now and see where I left off, that seems
to be good. I believe I jacked up the Engine abuse
RPM and dropped the MPH to 1MPH, and left the
trans alone (as everything I did, seemed to bring
back a sporadic "hang" on hard acceleration).

If you aren't getting hit by some mysterious loss
of power then you could just leave it be. I think
finer/broader abuse controls are part of the next
release, maybe there will also be better explanation
of action in the docs (?).
