Help!! getting a 1514 on a supercharged vette.
Ok this is my first supercharge programming attemp so be nice everyone. I just installed a P1SE procharger on an 2003 vette with auto trans. It has linginfelter heads and small cam. Its got a FLP long tubes corsa catback. It also has a 2800 Vig stall. The kit came without the super tuner. Well I have edit for the car so I figured give it a shot before ordering a super tuner.
The Kit cam with 38lb injectors and a 5psi pulley. So I left the timing stock. and added 135% to the injector flow amount. I did not know what to do with the maf so I just raised the maf high fail mhz to 24336. I did have a edwright file for a 98body to kinda look at. I notice there is allot more timing in edwrights program the the stock 03 vette timing. I loaded the file and the car started and ran fine. I took it for a drive and a lite throttle it was fine. as soon as I started to get on it and it turn on a light and reduced engine power message came on. bam a p1514 cam on.
So I went and tried to eliminate the test for the code still no improvement. so I went back and saw there is a Tab for caculated air flow DTC1514. I them looked at edwrights file and see that he has different number in this area. So I compared these numbers to a stock 98 file and see know difference. Then I look up the code and it only seems to be on corvettes. Anyone have a supercharged 2003 a4 vette file they want to seen me or Help me fix this file I would be indedded to you. darrenpb@charter.net
Thanks Darren

That is bad. if Im not crossing numbers up in my head, that is the MAF sanity check, if it exceeds values it considers "possible" I beleive it will kick the car into speed desnsity mode, and MAF wont be used for enrichment. Mayeb tray multiplying table by a whole 200%? You defintely dont want to see the car run sans MAF

It's not based on peak HP. The PCM (on C5s) is comparing the MAF reading against an airflow table (TP % vs. RPM table). If the MAF readings deviate too far from what the table says they should be the DTC will be set. A Magnason setup is very prone to setting this DTC as the air flow at lower RPMs is much greater than expected.
