Default Quick Monsoon Sub Question - Please Help!

I know next to nothing about stereo or component troubleshooting. I have a 2001 Formula and the stock sub on the driver side blew (big surprise) . It now makes a really annoying banging sound and I can't take it! Is there a way to just unplug that sub? I don't really have the time to replace it right now with something better.

If anyone could help, I would REALLY appreciate it. Pics would be a HUGE help because I don't want to screw up anything.

Thanks in advance!

The speaker grille snaps off. Just put your hands at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock on the grille and squeeze inwards. It will then come off.

Next use a nut driver to remove the 4 screws holding the speaker in and pull it out. You'll see the connector behind the speaker and unplug.
