Default Need some wiring/component removal advise

I posted this in the hybrid section with no answers so ill try here. Im swapping an 04 gto motor into my fox mustang. Im about ready to send off my wiring harness for rework but need some advice. Im trying to figure out what can be deleted on these engines so I can have the connector removed from the harness (e.g. AIR, ERG, etc.). Keep in mind I'll need to pass emissions testing so ill need to keep anything that would prevent me from passing that. Any help is appreciated.

What kind of emissions testing do you have to go through? If it's an "OBD plug-in" type, then EGR/AIR will need to be disabled via a tune if they were to be deleted. If it's the old roller smog test, you're probably going to have to use a functional EGR system to pass (AIR is primarily for cold starts).
