Default sanity check on which head studs to order

My iron block has 2 holes per head that are not as deep, so 4 in total for the engine need to be shorter than the other 16.

This is the old or "pre-2004" style right?

Yes, yours is the earlier style. I have an 04 LS6 block that uses the older style as well.

OK, thank you. Would have been upset if I ordered the wrong part number. ARP 234-4316 on order...unless there's something better that someone knows of?...though I think ARP's are pretty dam nice.

LS9 gaskets? I have a pair of them at home, but they're too thick to get my quench and CR where I need it...ordering cometics.

Those are GM MLS gaskets which squish down to .052 I believe.
