Default 12an line in a stock tank

I need to come out of my tank with a 12an line. Car is a 93 Z28. I believe it has a steel tank. I need to hook up a Maganafuel 500 pump for a carbed application. I want to use stock tank if at all possible, I dont want a cell in the hatch. Has anybody done this or have you had any problems I should know about? thanks ahead for all the input.

Sump the stock tank if its steel. If not get a fuel cell that fits where the tank goes.

Pretty sure they're steel up until model year 1999, so you should be able to sump it. I've sumped a third gen tank (which I think is the same as a steel 4th gen tank other than the filler neck) without issue in the past.
