Default lockup switch wire

quick question cause search feature wont find it, or im not operating it correctly, i have a techrods wiring harness, the wire to release the torque converter lockup, which side of the brake switch does it need to be on? i want to say on the positive side, so when you press the pedal it grounds it out. but again not 100% sure, i know i have read it on here somewhere just cant find it....

You need a switch that orginally incoporated cruise control. You should have 12v going to the converter with the ignition on and no voltage upon applying the brakes. I got a BWD brand switch (part# S870) from O'reilly Auto parts for around $10. There are several GM products with a similar switch that would probably work.

Here is a link with instructions on the proper wiring, etc:

Good luck..
