Default 1981 Trans Am LS project

I piked up this car for $1000. Dropping a LS1 in with a TH400 behind it. I got my OBDII port hooked up today and am working on the wires. Not to happy about the computer mount but it is still under construction. More to come

Yeah...whats wrong with it? Missing the floors? Missing the entire interior???

Thats a STEAL! Im in no position to buy anything let alone another car...but if I found an older firebird for 1k in that nice a shape I would figure out a way!

Good luck with it! The PCM mount doesnt look horrible. Maybe fab something that covers it and the wires to keep it simple. Put a screaming chicken sticker on top or something... Ive seen a lot worse.

I had to put floors in it and that was about the only real major thing wrong with it

i did my floors, still need a part of the quarter, trunk pan, front fenders all patched due to rust. replaced all my brake lines with stainless, all new brake components (front and rear), etc etc. my napa dealer loves me as i'm just doing it with stock stuff since i have an account with him. u get it fired up yet?

I would but both are in Ohio, there's a guy down here with a shakers hood already black and supposed to be in good condition if ur interested

It was custom made for another 79 but with a pontiac motor so the h pipe needs modded
