Default crank sprocket removal?

I need some help removing my time sprocket and am not having any luck. its a rollmaster double roller timing set that is installed at the moment. I can see that there is a little pin installed but i am unable to remove it. after searching google I found i might need a 2 jaw puller to pull of the sprocket but i still need to remove the retaining pin. any one have any tips they can offer?

That pin your talking about is probably the keyway. It doesnt need to be removed. Just use the puller and remove the sprocket.

There is a special tool that you can get for removal, it is around $11 on the auction site.

This.

I've got 3-4 of those tools laying around. Bought some extras just in case I broke one
