I am doing a swap into a Porsche, and was going to do something similar, but i got a really good deal on a comlete PCM, Harness, already flashed, pedal, TAC etc from a truck and the pedal was wayyyy to big for my application, so i took the sensor off the truck pedal assembly, and took the porsche pedal which is shaped exactly like a "t" the two pieces that come out the top of the "t" are where the factory throttle pivots, I was able to weld some material on and shape it like the pin from the truck pedal, I have already applied power to it, and it works great, but I still need to final mount it. Ill post pics tonight if i can.

I fabbed my own. Look at the photos in my profile for pics of what it looks like. Many seem to mount by drilling and running bolts through the firewall but I wanted to retain the smooth look from under the hood, so I welded the bracket inside. I have nuts welded on the back side of the bracket so it can be removed / replaced if necessary.

I too adapted the orginal foot "pad" to the GTO pedal I am using to keep the stock appearance. Good luck.
