Default Broke my brake line...

The steel one that runs from the ABS module to the driver front caliper. Was reinstalling the Kmember + engine. Anyone know where I can get one? Looks like all autozone sells is just generic tubing and I don't have the appropriate equipment to bend that and etc. Am I forced to go to the stealership?

Could I just cut the line with a pipe cutter, and hook the two ends together with a piece of hose and hose clamps?

Can you get a picture of the line you need? I bought an abs module awhile back and it came with the abs block and all the lines. If i have the line you need you can have it, its just taking up space in the garage.

If you have the .pdf of the parts manual, it's going to be #25 on page 787.

It's the line that goes from the abs module, is attached to the kmember, then connects to another hose which plugs into the caliper. There's a short stainless steel braided section right after the fitting from the ABS module.

Do not hook it together with hoses .... It is to much pressure and will eventually bust and in the mean time give you that mushy brake feeling and is not safe.... either buy the part prebent or bend a new one your self... the coil looking stuff that is around the stock one slides off if i remember right... but im sure it prob hung up on your kmember and you streached it out... no biggy easy fix , but can be pricey if you go to dealer to get it... IMO buy a good tubing bender and a double flairing tool... practice on a few pieces and you will always have the tools to fix it... And also come to a buddys rescue in the future!!!

I ran into this problem. I couldnt find anyone who sold it prebent. I ended up going to a junk yard and pulled one off another car. Cost me $30. And then a couple of hours to install and bleed.

This is by far your most economical solution, and please, no band aids, mushy brakes is an understatement, how about no brakes.
