Help with my project.....
Hello guys
I'am building a 396 LT4 engine all forged, and i need help with some stuff.
First is what timing chain should i run with, i heard that Cloyes 9-3145 is the best option for some real horsepower, what do you guys think about that ?
And i need help choosing injector, what brand? i will be running 80pound injectors,do i need low or high impedance injectors,
This motor will be blown with P-1SC system and i will be boosting about 14psi max, but maybe in the future i will change to F series procharger
My Whp goal is about 600 - 700
I need your help guys to be one of the fastest LT4 on iceland

What exactly makes your build an LT4? Are you using LT4 heads/intake?
The Cloyes 3145 is a great choice.
Low impedance injectors take more current to operate, but allow for a much faster opening and closing injector, useful for the minuscule pulsewidth for large injectors to maintain a tolerable idle. However, they require a high amperage driver (stock injectors are high impedance). You can piggy-back the PCM with a "black box" (www.acceleronics.com, a bit pricey) so you can use low impedance injectors with the stock PCM.

I got a lt4 edelbrock intake and AFR lt4 210CC heads
I will be running stock computer next summer but i will buy Fast standalone in the future, maybe sometime in 2012, I think the best choise is to run high impedance injector with stock PCM and run low impedance with FAST standalone, what do you think about that ?
