A newbie has joined your ranks
Hey all! Been reading through these forums for a few weeks now and it has become the #1 place for me to lookup any info on my car.. I drive an 06 GP GXP, Dark Cherry Metallic, black interior.. All options except for the touch screen navigation .. Anywho.. You guys all seem VERY helpful and I look forward to asking MANY questions ... First things first, will a pair of 18x8 Alcoa's fit in the rear? I want to be able to rotate my tires.. Second: What good mods will help increase the longevity of my tranny? Cooler/clutch/chain/shift kit/TC? I hear the shift kits beat on the trannies more than help them... Probably going to start with the cooler.. Anyways, more quetions later! Ciao folks!

Welcome aboard! Pretty sure you wont have any issues running the 8" Alcoa's out back (other than finding a set, lol), I believe JP_GXP among others run them. I'm sure they'll chime in. As far as the tranny goes, from what I've read on here that Dave at Triple Edge Performance (TEP) is the man to talk to about our 4T65-E's. There's probably some helpful info in the sticky as well.

Yeah they will fit. No one has confirmed loads, lowering, and whatnot.
