233/236 cam
Hey guys prepare to read!
First off i am in Iraq and won't be home for another 10 months or so, but before i left i sold my LS1/4L60E out of my 01 Z28 to a friend. Since then i have opted to buy it back from him and have it stuffed back in before i get home. The current mods coming back with the motor are a 233/236 TR custom ground cam, 921 dual springs, chromoly rods, ls2 chain, slp lts with lm2 ory and catback, 4000 stall, lid, and 60lb injectors.
He had this set up tuned in his 01 t/a at 373rwhp. Idk if i am a big fan of this cam, it has very aggressive lift and lsa(can't remember #'s for sure), and i was just wondering if i can make 425 ish on this cam with a nice set of heads/intake? What do you recomend for this set up? I think when i come home to the car it will go back into pieces and get an flt trans/12 bolt rear with 3.73s and full suspension with cosmetics.
I'm just not to sure if i want to stick with this cam or swap it for a 230/230 cam that has been proven on here time and time again. What do you think? Any input/suggestions on set ups would be useful as i have been out of the game for awhile due to Army etc. My car has been sitting since last april. Sad part is it received a fiberglass SS hood and new paint to
Any input helps, especially if anyone has any experience with this cam! Thanks guys, - Zack

You don't need such a big stick to get #'s.. A smaller grind will give you more usable power. Course depends on what you want to do with the car also.
