Default Is this a good deal guys????

Im looking at buying a 99 WS6 Trans Am with just under 62,000 on the clock. It black exterior with charcoal int. Its a 6 speed car. All original no mods except for tinted windows. It has ok tires and everything seems to work with no known problems. It has been stored winters here in Iowa. It has had no accidents and clean and clear title. Stock 99 WS6 rims. I have no pics to post.
He is asking $10,000 or best offer.
Just wanted to know if that was a good deal for that year and miles? What do guys think?

I was thinking I could get it for about 9k. A friend thinks nothing more than 8500 but Im pretty sure he wont go that low.

Not bad on the miles for a 99. If it's obo, then offer him $8,000. It's worth a shot.

This might get moved to the 'What is it Worth' section but I'll answer in the meantime. Quite a few questions still need to be answered. Any maintenance records? All the fluids should have been changed with the age and miles of the car. How many owners? How is the clutch, tranny, brakes, etc... and the most important thing, how does it run? If you can answer positively to most of these questions, then the car is priced accurately, especially with the 'best offer' attached. An excellent buying price for you would be around $9,000 if everything checks out. If the car is truly in GOOD Condtion, and needs very little, I would move closer to his $10,000 asking price. I'm sure he would take $9,500 or $9,600 or otherwise he would have said $10,000 firm. A non-modded WS6 with 6 speed is a nice find if not abused. Also make sure it is a real WS6. Good luck!

Wasnt sure of what section I should post up in. Mods feel free to move.
The trans shifts good and firm into all gears, the clutch seems goog but unsure if its been replaced and unsure of how it reacts to spirited driving.
