Nope.... It's cool she's trying to learn a new language. I want my kids to do this and learn as many new languages as they can.
And I'm one the guy that says kill them all and lets add new countries to our list… lol
America 1
America 2
America 3 lol
I know I'm bad but, it sure would save us a lot of money if we did this. lol

i find the fact she's learning Chinese (probably at her father's behest) somewhat disturbing. its quite possible this will be one of the highest profile cases of insider trading ever

Like it or not fellas, America isnt the only super power in the world anymore. We have to learn how to play along nicely and not just be the big bully on the playground. I think its cool that she is learning it, although the publication of it is most definitely a PR stunt.

I speak French and English, So I think its not a bad idea to learn another language,
But,Alot of Americans don't like China at all !
And I'm one of them
We may Shift our buying power to another country with a standard of living more like ours,
We've done it in the past,
Americans don't want to Help China build the Biggest Military on the planet,
Which is what they are doing now,
Corporate America is keeping Americans in China,
So don't help them by buying their Chinese Shitt !

Pssh, China has owned us for years through debt and our dependency on their rising economy (cheap labor, manufacturing, yadda yadda).
Srsly though, when I was in high school the two most popular languages were Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish of course. All great languages for anyone aspiring to have a high profile customer/marketing/political type job.

I'm not going to try to look up the numbers but, I read on CNN that we are there biggest buyers of the chinese products.
Most of the chinese can't / don't spend the kind of money that we "US" pay for there products.
But I see your point.. I just know they would be hurting a lot more if we didn't buy there ****.

China is slowly purchasing the USA in terms of property and national debt. Sooner or later, the landlord (China) is going to want to collect, and guess what? Mechanics lein on our country. They will own us.
The USA will never be back on top. We spend too many billions on other countries, instead of taking care of our own country first. Other countries do not do this, they take care of themselves first. This is where we'll fail, we'll always have a growing debt that China will loan us money to fix.
