all Futral F13 owners help me out!!
A buddy of mine is going to give me his F13 cam for free!
It is a 230"/232" .595"/.585" 112LSA cam.
Anyone have this and have anything to say about them? My car is a DD so is good drivability expected?
And anyone have a estimate on what i should make with this cam?
I have a 04 GTO M6. Right now im at 327rwhp with headers, exhaust, ported TB, and hp tuners tune, on stock airbox.
With the cam i will also be adding a svede CAI and retune of course.
What are yals opinions on the cam and is 400rwhp reasonable or should i expect more in the 380ish range?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Feel free to post videos, dyno sheets, or anything like this. I couldnt find many goats or ls1s running this cam so this is why i ask

dont have a futral but just based on the cam specs id say its possible but gonna be super close. Find a good tuner and pray for the 400 hp club. make it or not though enjoy your cam. should be a pretty decent driver. Just have the tuner do a driveability tune also

thanks yeah i will have my tuner do all of that for me and make sure its a good tune. All i want is for it to drive good and put down at least 380 and ill be ok. if its under 380 ill be upset ha

I had it in my old 2002 Z28 with a 3K TCI converter, the car went 7.4xs and put down 381 rwhp. I knocked down close to 25 mpg on the highway and around 16 in the city

Thanks this is what i like to hear! But ive noticed for a cam only (at least in 04 gtos) they put down around 370-380. So is 400 something i should just forget about or does anyone think its really likely?

As a note to the low dyno comment. I recently installed a L76 6.0 w/ square port heads in a 2004 GTO. Along with Pacesetter long tubes, true dual 3" exhaust, K&N FIPK, and an L76 intake w/ a Holley 90mm TB. The guy didn't want to hurt street manners so he chose a Trailblazer converter and a mild 214/222 cam. The car was tuned by Geoff at EPS and put down 387HP on a dynojet.

I think if you get in the 380 range you should be happy with that. I would think that the GTO's independent suspension will not dyno as high as an f-body. That's the most likely reason for the lower dyno numbers you have been finding. The F13 is a great cam that will make nice power and have good driveability for it's size.
