anyone? ive been searching. finding from .05-.08 to .06-.09 to .06-.1 my preload right now is .1. ive heard this will be a little quieter. ive heard the opposite. regardless of that it seems a little high. and this is with the 7.35 pushrods. any help?

Your preload of 0.100 is higher than the 0.060 to 0.080 range usually associated with OEM lifters, but, as your own research revealed it is not higher than some run. Is your valve train noisy at that preload?

Many say thats to high of a preload. Many will shoot for .075 to .080.

The times I have measured stock it was near 0.100". GM does have a specification for that lifter but I can't find the data sheet.
