Default Lt's for lowered Z, stock heads and cubes

I know I've posted similar before, bear with me, very bored at work. I will not have heads in the next few years, car is lowered, see sig for mods, may go with a longer duration cam. I don't really care about being a dyno hp queen. I care about seeing the biggest improvement in ET. I guess strong torque would be a big plus. I know SLP's rock on torque, but hang too low. Any others comparable to SLP's? I would rather not spend $1000 though being that I think that is frickin ridiculous. I would rather not have to have a Y pipe made either. This is the next mod for my ride, so I need to know how much I need to steal (ha ha). Save I mean.

Kooks or Qtp's since your car is lowered. Both of these have the same ground clearance as stock. I know because I have had both. I prefer kooks.

Damn they're expensive though. I guess I'll be saving for a while.

I've heard some iffy things about Hookers. I really want to get something that picks up torque as well. Many headers lose stupid amounts of low end and only pick up hp on the high end. My friend has a 01 Formula auto with all the bolt ons and SLP's and put down 400 rwtq.

Kooks is worth the money. Stainless steal will last forever.
