Default Timing cover seal installer

Any specs on making one of these, or getting them cheap? I don't think i'll need it more than once...

^^What these guys said, most of those special tools like that can be made at home cheaper than you can buy that stuff.

Both methods will work well, as long as you're careful, the wood or socket are larger than the OD of the seal, so you push on it evenly, and really important, support the backside of the cover when you're "tapping", so you don't cave it in...

Agree with both as well, i like using the bottom adapter to a ball joint press tool. Its the same size and works very well for me at work.
