Default Possibly starter going out?

Within the past year before i put her away for the winter, my car pretty much has started the same way for the past 7 years i have had it. Lately though it has been catching on like the 4,5th crank when it used to catch like on the first or second. Battery is good and haven't had any other problems. Car is in storage now, but i want to know where to focus my aim at when it comes out. My clutch is at the end of its life, so possibly flywheel, but i doubt it. My pedal does get super hard and super soft at rare times which is probably hydraulics since the car has 60,000 miles on it with the same clutch fluid.

Im thinking starter, clutch interlock switch.

Can anyone chime in who has those items go bad and describe the symptoms a bit? I did a bit of search, but it seems its all over the place.
