I suggest using a mighty-vac to bleed the system to insure that all is well. In fact it isn't a bad idea to flush and refill the system when installing a new clutch. Remember, hydraulic fluid, like any fluid, needs to be replaced over time.
Having air in the system, or a slave that has not adjusted to the height of the new clutch can affect release. If the clutch can't release fully, as a result of the compression provided by the bearing, then you can experience grinding. Subsequently, Build, lack of bleeding can lead to a transmission that grinds. Let me know if you guys have any further questions. Thanks,
