Nice refreshing news in Car Audio
Not sure if this has been posted in here or not but it is great news to those of us in the business of Car Audio and informative to normal consumers:
CEA Standard for amplifier rating!!
God I hate dealing with the "Why does this JL Audio 500w amp cost $599 when i can get a Rockford Punch 1900w amp for $250??"

Maybe people will finally stop buying so much crap and start buying quality products. Ive always liked JL Audio not just for their product but I know alot of the guys at corporate and the engineers. These guys really love music not just making money.

What, you mean my 10000W Lanzar amp isnt really 10000W???
I wonder if this standard would apply to ALL amps, including factory setups. It would be interesting to see what companies like GM would do with their 500W Monsoon stereos if they had to advertise continuous wattage!!!
