Default X-pipe placement

I really need the x-pipe as close to the front as possible because the torque arm hits it where its at. So my question is is can i cut and weld it closer to the headers and have longer pipe running to the dumps? I have a full length UMI torque arm w/relocation bracket, moser 12 bolt, subframe connecters that are causing me to have this issue. thanks.

Yup, you just dont want it too close to the headers, the object is for the exhaust to pick up some velocity before it hits the crossover so it helps pull from the other side.. wont have any problems as long as you give it a some Lead.
