I did with the 3 1/2" summit X-pipe kit. I just went to an exhaust shop and stood underneath with them at the same time helping them. I think I needed some extra straight pipe if I remember correctly. I can maybe get a pic tomorrow.

Looks good hitman. Are those Borla XR-1's, or...? Any video clips?

The_merv had somekind of spiral flows on his and it sounded AMAZING.
Just gotta decide on what kind of muffler I want now.

I know I DONT want dmax bullets or similar. I want a smoother tune than that, and perhaps a tad less noise.

I think those are the Borla XS mufflers. Theyre pretty tame from what I understand but flow great. I dont like bullets neither, sound like a truck cruising around.

Yeah heres an idle/rev and dyno clip. They are Borla Pro XS mufflers. These are not small by any means 14"x9.5"x4". I needed to quiet my car down a lot since I DD it. It was either these or Magnaflow 4x9s, which were more expensive. You will have to clearance the backseat area to use these however.

I used the Summit 3" universal X-pipe kit on mine with the Borla XR-1's dumped. Used the small XR-1's for the space savings and to be noise tolerable. Also had a 3" Summit universal X-pipe with Flow master single chambers prior, but took the system out because it was too damn loud. Muffler shop only had to do minimal bending to make work. It looks and sounds great. Used 3" Summit band clamps to attach to headers. Not much else to buy other than X-pipe kit, 2 mufflers & 2 Band clamps. Muffler shop will do the rest. If your running cats you'll prob have to buy 2 O2 fittings to install behind the convertors and some short bullet type (round) convertors. Standard convertors are going to be to long to fit in-between the bends after the headers if you have long tubes.

How loud are the Xr1's vs the 1 chambers? Did you use the oval or round cased ones?

When I get home I can find some pictures. I've got one car with custom bent 3" dumps [B/C of the BMR Track Pak] and the DD car has the Summit 3" X pipe kit. One has Powersticks and the DD has Summit Bullets. I may have a few videos of each...

The Summit X-pipe kit just took some cutting and welding to get it all tucked up where I wanted it. It wasn't just a "bolt on" setup. I think I have $120 in the whole setup, plus some beer for the welder. The custom bent setup cost more only because of the powersticks, muffer shop charged me $100 for the piping/labor. The powersticks are definately louder than the Summit Bullets, especially on a car with a healthy cam, but it seems to give off less drone while driving. I like that both are straight through mufflers that don't neck down inside.

Do you like the sound of the Powersticks? I've just been watching a bunch of videos of them and I think they sound pretty damn good.

I want a DEEP smooooth buttery sound. I HATE rasp / high pitch....

I dont have any pics of mine but I just used my summit 3" universal x pipe kit, two bullets, turn downs, and band clamps. I did not need any extra material to do this and My turn downs just about reach my axle with 16" bullets.

Ya chassis mount will not work with most X pipes, unless you want to really sacrifice ground clearance.

Thats my summit X pipe setup.
