Which is correct A-TAP or EDIT ?

Which is correct A-TAP or EDIT ?
A-tap show shifts at 6300- 6350, but I set edit to shift at 6600 at eack shift with cut off at 6800 resume at 6775
tomorrow MAY set edit to shift @6750 then atap to see where it shifts ( do not remember mods in sig,) am running
231/237 295/298 112 with duel crane and LT's, ST3500, Honemade Edit tune
some one/ every one what is happening??

You have to set a rpm and mph for the shift points in edit. Both parameters have to be met for the pcm to command the shift. Also, if you log only rpm with edit you will get a lot higher resolution as to when the shift is actually occuring. One time when I logged rpm and gear only, I noticed there is a slight delay between the pcm commands the shift and when the tranny actually executes the shift.

but yea, you are right about the other settings.
