Question Curiuos: has anyone done a CME on a Trans Am?

I'd just be curious to see what it looks like. There are SO MANY fabricated set-ups in the world and I wondered if anyone did that one lol!

Not a good one. The only idea that would work for one would be to buy the VFN bumper with the wheelie bar cutout and run a CME there, but you would have no where for a license plate

To F-BodyMind- Crimson said something about doing something like that with the body of a Camaro and the front end of a T/A or vice versa. I've not seen him on here or if he has, I hadn't noticed or not.

The only place for the license plate to go is up, to make something like that work. On a TA rear bumper, a plate recess moved up higher than stock just would not look good at all .

or smooth out the bumper modify some tasteful skirt or side splitters along with a front splitter so instead of moveing the place yup you create space below....puts on flame suit

It's a Trans Am. It already comes from the factory looking bad-***. The Camaro, on the otherhand, needs all sorts of cosmetic upgrades. Go to any site and click on "Exterior" (regarding 4th Gens), and I guarantee you that there will be 5-to-1 more products for Camaro's then Trans Am's!

I made a thread about this a while ago. The conclusion was that the only real way to do it would be to put the license plate where the filler panel is. Nothing ever came of the idea though...

Excuse my (lack of) MS Paint Skills:

Based off of this:
