Default icemanrd19 67 camaro

Well about 3 or 4 months ago i bought a 1967 Camaro from a guy in fort worth. Well Replacing a few nuts and bolts led me to ripping alot of the car apart. Currently the car is sitting apart and im trying to figure out what direction i want to take it.

I need some help with the steps of fixing this car up the way i want it. I stopped last month bc i felt like i was probably going to do things to the car that i would end up having to take back off so in essence wasting my time.

My goal:

4 link but which one?
mini tubbed
ls2 with a 6 speed
new dash
B cooled radiator setup
tubular control arms
complete rotisserie restoration
2nd gen gear box
billet grill with daytime running lights delete
rs lower grill with spoiler
american autowire wiring kit
new carpet
20% tinted windows
center console
Which rear end?
Vintage air
smooth firewall

Now do i start with the body work first as in installing the rear end, 4 link, and mini tubes then paint and assemble the rest of the car or what? I need some direction please. The car ran until i ripped the electric systems out of it. Should i keep the streetfire transmission and install the ls2 with it, Should i do all the body work and everything else to the car and then eventually tackle the conversion? I would love to get the car setup the way i want and upgrade it as i enjoy it.

THis is exactly how i want my 67

THis was my old project but ive grown up now to bigger meaner toys

here is my build, should point you in a direction for some of yours. https://ls1tech.com/forums/chevrolet...aro-build.html

also look around www.pro-touring.com and www.lateral-g.net

4 link but which one? for a 4 link get detroit speed's quadra link if its a street car or road track car. its set up for 65% anti squat and doesn't hook up as well as a drag race 4 link. you could also look into speedtech's torque arm or BMR's torque arm.

mini tubbed detroit speed

ls2 with a 6 speed easy part to do. go with the autokraft oil pan, hooker conversion headers and motor mount adapters

new dash also detroit speed.

B cooled radiator setup not worth it. go with prodigy customs kit or autorad

tubular control arms speedtech, detroit speed are the two best out.

2nd gen gear box get a 3rd gen iroc gear box, ATS gear box from speedtech or detroit speed's.

billet grill with daytime running lights delete 1st gen camaro's didn't have daytime running lamps

rs lower grill with spoiler lower grill was the same on '67 and '68

american autowire wiring kit good choice

20% tinted windows you can buy tinted windows that are tinted like new cars.

Which rear end? 12 bolt takes less power to turn and will hold anything that LS2 will throw at it. moser or strange gets my vote.

smooth firewall detroit speed.

tired of searching for a ls2 t56 setup. Is it really worth double the cost for a ls2 over a ls1?

Looks like your making great progress man. Keep at it. I love the orange color also, mix some carbon in there I think it would look perfect.

As far as the motor goes I would contact these guys..
