Default Weld pro stars 10 inch wide, rubbing caliper...

I've had my weld 10 inch rims with 7.5 backspacing and no spacers on the car for over 3 years with no issues... Now in the last week I have had slight rubbing from the brake caliper... It's usually only when I turn left or in reverse... I took the wheel off and saw nothing strange, wheel has no play, caliper bolts looked fine... I put it back on the same way and it rubbed worse just driving down the block... For now I am putting spacers on it but what the hell could it be? I have a moser 9 inch for reference.

Nope, pads are around half life at the very least... It's so weird.

ok, after talking to a few friends i was told the 9 inch has bearings that are pressed in to hold the axles and those could be loose or the 4 bolts behind the caliper.. i have no experience with this, but does anyone else know of or seen this? would it cause the caliper to rub the wheel?

Might be a dumb question but is there anyway you might have a slight bend in the wheel now from a pot hole? I know mine are really close on my 15x8's and any slight bend could make the wheel out or proportion enough to barely rub.

It's possible, but the reason I don't think it's that is because both wheels do it pretty evenly on each wheel

Check the caliper bolts for safety, check for play in the wheel in and out left and right while in the air. If everything checks out grab some 5mm spacers and keep running the wheels.

Pretty much all I've done lol. It's just so odd to me, I'd rather know the answer than risk having something fail on a hard launch
