The LS2 block is aluminum it is found in: corvette, GTO, G8(l76 but ls2 block), and im sure others.
The Ly6 is in trucks and SUVs i beleive however it is not aluminum it is a cast iron block.
both of these are 6.0L engines
the 6.2l or ls3 are all alimunum i beleive thats trucks, cars, etc.
