IS IT A REAL RAM AIR FORMULA?

You usually check it through the RPO code, which is on the side of the door.

VIN should be 17 digits.
You're missing one digit.

Once you find it, Go to compnine.com, & on the lower right you can find a link where you can enter the VIN to find the RPO codes for that vehicle.

If WS6 is listed, ..., You win.

Edit: You lose, No WS6.

I bet that the total number of fake ram air fourth-gens running around out there rivals the total number of authentic ram air fourth gens produced.

It would not surprise me. It is almost getting similar to the Chevelles and Camaros of the 60's - 70's where the SS has been so overdone (clones) it has almost spoiled the marque for me. In my thinly held opinion, I sure admire stock examples. I keep everything 'factory stock' as much as possible. People almost forget what they looked like from the factory. I know if I see an older regular stock original Chevelle with a 307 or similar V8 in it, it brings a smile to my face
