I have a mail order tune from him. It made the car fun to drive. Even when I had 2.73 rear gears.

if you do some search on here, you wont read one bad thing about his work. i even read one guys results which was a mail order frost tune for his cam only car. he then got frost to dynotune it when he was in town and i think the gains were only around 8-10 rwhp. thats how spot on the mail order frost tune was.

he is getting my pcm in about a month to tune it for the tr230 cam i just got.

For a simple bolt on car it will be fine, but its a shot in the dark if it will be as good as a dyno tune. Every car is different and those variables can be different on different cars with the same mods. Which is why its common to see guys on here with the same mods, engine, trans and have different dyno numbers. If I were getting a cam, turbo, or N20 I would def. spend the extra money and get a dyno tune to fit my individual car so I know that A/F ratio and other things are correct.

I'm ordering a frost tune for my TA and it is stock. The main thing I want is the torque management adjustment for the auto trans. I dont ever plan to mod my car.

When I get my car tuned that's who i'm going to see. I only live about 1.5 hours from him.

Yes. As for gain , your car will run smoother and I'm sure you will feel more throttle response from your car. Just make the call and get'er done !

If I were you I'd go with a local tuner that way you van avoid the hassle of having to take off your pcm shipping and wait for it to be back.

I've heard a lot of good things about frost but if he's not local to you then its almost like a shot in the dark. Just my .02

Considering all of the positive feedback Frost gets from his mailorder tunes, I would not consider it a shot in the dark. More like a shot in the dark with a nightvision scope maybe.

Dyno tuning is really the only way to go as every car is different in our opinion. We offer great prices on our tunes, Jeff is a great tuner and you won't leave dissapointed. We give 100% satisfaction gaurantee or your money back. We have already tuned a few cars from Hutchinson and welcome the opportunity to tune yours. If you haven't already, feel free to give us a shout and we can talk about prices!

I got mine tuned 2months ago from frost....You can def. tell the difference. Rides, responds, performs...better than stock...
If you can't get dyno tune, frost is the next best thing.

glad to hear the positive responses about Frost. I'll be sending my PCM out here in the next few weeks.
