Default Possible coolant leak?

Recently I've noticed that when I pop the hood when the engine is hot, I get a strong smell of dexcool.
So immediately I think its leaking somewhere, but there are no puddles on the ground, and I can't see anything wet.
If it is a leak, it must be a small one because the level has barely changed on the dipstick.
Any ideas?

mine leaked from behind the water pump. it was so small i couldnt tell for a year till the water pump died. let the car cool off remove your lid and bla bla and check for rust around the water pump area. hope that helps.

check your front coolant crossover pipe(steam pipe). Mine was leaking from the drivers side and leaking down onto my oil pan bolts. I replace mine with the 2nd design pipe with oring instead of the 1st design gasket type.

Either water pump is leaking at the weep hole, or check the overflow reservoir as they develop hairline cracks as well.

Mine was the water pump, was a very slow leak that took some time to show.
