Twin Bosch 044, Block or Y fittings to merge them?
I am running twin Bosch 044's and want to tie them together 1 or 2 ways. The first would be to use this block from Aftermarket Industries in Aussie:
Or tie them using a Magnafuel Y fitting:
It has been said that using any type of fitting that has a machined 90 bend in it is horrible for fuel flow. I know it would be more beneficial to use the Y at this point but for simplicity and cost the block doesn't seem that bad.
As of now I am only shooting for 600whp, I know duals are overkill. I am overplanning my fuel system because I plan to make 900-1000 when I do a forged setup. I want to do it once and be done with it. The 2nd pump will run off a hobbs switch for efficiency and to keep fuel temps down. Do you think the block will hurt more than benefit me?

Thank you, I just wanted someone who had it proven to persuade me. I do love the bracket so I may pick it up and just not use their block.
Do you think I will need a check valve for the pump running off the hobbs, or is there already one built in it like the 255 walbros?
