Dirty Throttle Body ...... I think?
I was wondering if the film inside my throttle body is mormal ... i removed my lid from the TB .... and opened the TB with the cable and ran my finger along the inside of the TB .... i had a nice black film on my finger ... wanted to know if this is a normal film ??? if not how do i clean it?? and if its on there wouldnt it be coating my intake manifold 2???? dumb question i know .... any help would help ...lol

It is normal, there is throttle bore cleaners, like 3M makes it & others.
It is from the crankcase vents & PCV system.
Yes the whole intake gets coated in this stuff too.
There are systems (professional) that clean injectors & intake tracts.

just think, not only is that on your throttlebody, its coating the entire surface of the interior of the intake manifold. only way to stop it is loose the egr and pcv.

would are the negative aspects of removing EGR and PCV systems?
ive been wanting to ditch EGR and AIR..
