Rebuilding in a few weeks. Have a few questions I finally will have the time to rebuild the T56 in m car in about 2 weeks. My first question is, what should I upgrade while Im in there anyway? It's for a DD, and it's out of an 04(i believe) vette, so I don't need to go too crazy. (It grinds in 1-3 f you need to know.)
2) I am not happy with the shifter location. I see keisler has a kit for that, but it's $300, when it used to be 200. Has anyone come up with a DIY version of the shifter location, or am I stuck paying the retirement of keisler employees?
Also, is there anything that's a common problem not included with a rebuild kit I should buy?
