Default Clutch not disengaging

Hi I just started having a problem with my clutch not completely disengaging. Its a ram HD clutch. Less than 5k miles on it. Grabs perfectly fine. But this problem started occuring about a week ago. Even when i press the clutch completely in, it doesnt want to go into any gear hardly and i cannot put it in reverse at all. I just put fluid in right before these problems started to occur. I would appreciate some input. I drive a 94 z28 6spd btw
thanks

is it losing clutch fluid? these can be a bear to bleed as well, but at least you dont have to feel for the bleeder inside the bell housing.

sounds like it isn't releasing fully. Did you check the clearance on the throwout bearing to see if it needed to be shimmed?

If you needed to add fluid it must've been low. If the level fell below the reservoir it probably sucked air into the line. Try bleeding the hell out of it and see if that helps.

You can also try hooking up with the guy above you that can't get his clutch to engage. If you swap clutches maybe you'll both be "juuuuuust right".

Sorry, i couldn't help it, the threads are right next to eachother.

I had this problem too. I took me bleeding it out 3 times and the last of the 3 I finally got it down. I didn't know the bleeder valve was on the left side of the trans you could barely see it but I used an air compressed bleeder to syphon everything out, it usually takes a few pumps every start up to making everything feel right, i never had this problem before I just put in a stage 3 centerforce. However after bleeding the slave out the right way I finally fixed it. Good to know that someone else had a similar problem.

By pumping the pedal I mean the shifter usually feels a little stiff at first. Thats all, not the pedal itself i can tell when theres air in their.
