will it fit right into the radio slot or will it need to be cut apart? i know it will need a new bezel but i was cuirous about if i will have to cut the actual area when it goes into the dash

Got cut out the top and bottom of radio opening and fill in about a half inch on both right and left side of radio

Here is it on a 2001 Formula. The opening on the 1998 Camaro may be similar although the bezel will be different.

That screen is 6.1 inches
all your Pioneer KEnwood Sony Alpine Jensen JVC standard DD units will work
all are same size as well just a different screen size on some.
Is there a unit your looking at?
