On a stock engine you can tell a difference. And it's not in my head

There's a massive difference in throttle response. the pedal becomes a hair-trigger and the power comes on quicker. It's not much on the dyno, maybe 5rwhp

It's a stock throttle body with some material removed. It installs just like the stock one. Make sure your rubber lines don't have cracks, and that your intake throat seal is in good shape.

put towels underneath the coolant lines so antifreeze doesn't spill on your belts. And take your time. You will need torx tools (forgot exact size) to remove sensors on the side of the TB

I don't know about shops in your area, but I've had two tb's ported by two different shops and it was under $40 both times. Just my two cents. Definitely worth it, however.

I want one of his TB's so bad, OP you should spend the 30 extra and get a nice ported, polished, & powdercoated TB.

I got my ported/polished/powder coated TB from this guy locally. This was the 2nd TB I bought from him and I have had no complaints both times. Highly recommend. I got one with the epoxy mod and everything in the flat black, it matches the stock LS6 intake pretty well.
