Default Radio issues!!!

Why the hell does my radio keep flickering on and off, especially when i turn the music up to a volume where words can actually be heard, or try to play a CD, someone help me!!!

This is the most annoying **** ever...

Do your power windows still work when the radio turns off?? Could be your BCM. I didn't realize my windows were not working at the same time when this happened to me because I wasn't trying to roll them down when it happened. Turned out that is what it was though.
Check that out and get back to us.

will do, something i noticed that is kindof freaking me out though, is that my fuse box can be shaken easily, and it makes a difference depending on the angle. But no matter where it sets, past a certain point **** just goes haywire.

is there a difference between a 94' obd1 bcm and an ls1 bcm, because they look completely different...

Does the radio flicker when hitting bumps? If so, there could be a loose connection some where.

im thinking its a loose connection, but would that explain why it flickers on and off when i try to turn it up to an audible level?

^^^it does it when i hit bumps too now that i've been paying attention, i looked for a bcm, but couldnt find it, wiring is a major buggaboo for me

There is no BCM in a 94.

Have you pulled it out to check the wiring? And does your voltage drop or does the radio just cut in and out?
