im selling my 4L60e out of my 2000 z28 and I have a guy interested in it. He has a '92 firebird currently with a 305 and a 5-sp. What Im needing to know is will he beable to do the swap with my tranny? Im including in the sell is the orginal converter and all the old mounting brackets (im switching over to a 400 turbo so no need) thanks for any info

I would say no. Reason being is the pilot on the converter is longer so it might bottom out on the crank. Also I'm pretty sure that the over all length of your trans is longer than what would have been in that car if it had an auto. This will more than likely cause issues with the cross member and also the torque arm. Vince
