Default first c5, have 3k for mods, what should i get

i just bought a c5 6 speed, just raced a modded c6 and got spanked, and also raced a stock c6 he pulled on me at top end, so i have 3k wanting to do something to make it faster, the car has short throw shifter, electronic cut outs, cold air intake and a aftermarket clutch forgot which one, so any help is appreciated. I'd like to keep decent gas mileage cause i told the wife i needed a gas saver.

Some funny gas would be a great mod to have, this way you are not killing your gas mileage. I loved spraying my TA back when it was stock. My vote goes for n2o. maybe some long tube headers / full exhaust.

Don't even begin worrying about that right now man, take the 3k you currently have, open up the exhaust some more and get a tune. That's really what you want first before you start considering a cam or nitrous setup.

Yea, to have a quality F/I setup your going to want to do supporting mods to make sure you don't break anything. How much power and what are you goals for the car in the end? You should figure that out first and then plan the setup out
