Need Help and Advice to Upgrade My Torque Converter.
I recently purchased a mild cam (Comp Cams) Spring Kit, Headers (edelbrock), SLP Lip and flowmstrs Exhst, Motor n trans mounts. Now i want to upgrade to a good Stall Convtr. I was told i couldnt go to big of a stall due to the cam. Is this True? and with the set up im having installed, What kind of converter can i go with?
Please, all input is welcome... Trying to see my T/A Ws6 Ram air package break 12 or better.
Is that also expected? And can anyone give me a ball park on Hp I should see with all this. Claims are 325hp Stock.

your best bet is to talk to some of the vendors about your current setup so they can direct you to the proper conveter for your needs. As far as you going to big on the converter you want to get one thats gonna put you in the powerband of your motor. I ordered my cam based on the converter and gears ill be running

Even bone stock ls1s with a stock cam stock ls1 intake stock 273s will benefit more from a 4000 than a 3400.
These cars love large converters. Only In cars with power adders should you not go big.
Minimum of 3600.
Anything larger than a 230/230 .588 113 cam 4000 minimum.
