Security light issues!!!
I have read and read and I have not found the answer. I done the mod for the VATS system by putting a resistor in place. the car starts good sometimes, but I am still somehow getting a security light. This will happen sometime while driving. What can I do to full diable this system??? Or is there anything that I can do to stop getting a security light?

Yes, it is doen exactly like the diagram. It doesnt have to be a bumpy road for the light to just come on. I am wondering if the bcm is trying to take a dump. Is this possible?

That is correct - the BCM is can't be tuned. You can tune the PCM to ignore the required fuel enable signal from the BCM but that still leaves the starter relay disable and the security light functions in the BCM.
Are you sure you installed resistors totaling within 10% of the VATS value? Actually, 5% would be better since the internals of the BCM also have tolerances that could cause problems if your values are close to the limits.

Get a 50 Htz box that runs into the PCM to disable Vats or get it tuned out.
Ground out the TDR.
Cut the wire coming out of the BCM to the security light.
That is the only true way to bypass VATS.
And yes, very possible for BCM to be crapping out. My stock BCM did funky things and my new one has Radio issues at times.
