I will be moving to Gilbert/Queen Creek area within the next year and just need to know of the good LS1 shops in the area. I have 2000 NHRA Formula with 400 rwhp and would like to keep building on it when time/$ permits, I want to know if they have some good high performance shops in these areas? Oh I will be looking to some of the Fbody people too!!!
Thanks,
J

Sean at Topgear, without question.

Welcome to AZ! We have a pretty large, weekly car show on Saturdays that lots of people show up to at the Scottsdale pavilions (Indian Bend and the 101)

I'm in the exact same boat for location and time frame. Good to know there are fellow members in the area.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who replied to my question? I look forward to the move. One last question how is the monsoon season out there, I have heard so much from not much rain to almost flash flooding? I no this is not a weather station but just wanted a little feedback?

last few years havent had much , but depends which area you live in , when i first moved out here 12 years ago the stroms were nice , now they are weak to almost tornado like

but over all rain is usually light , and the flash floods have only been in old river beds , or low laying areas , but not much to worry about

Monsoon=wall of dust coming from the East Valley, 50mph wind in every direction, and generally a mild thunderstorm.

If you live in the valley, you don't need to be worried about floods. They are rare and usually only affect the outlying cities that are almost in the middle of nowhere (and those north of the valley).

And one more vote for Top Gear, Sean is Awesome.
