Based on the limited info provided, I would suggest a large cube BBC engine with a healthy dose of N2O, might also consider a roots blower.

I think the LS1 in stock form has plenty of torque for the street. Then again, I'm a paper air filter kinda guy so...

Of course everyone need more info, but also what do you consider torquey? Alot of people would say a stock camero/ TA is a torquey street car. Some people would say its torquey if you can pick the front wheels up. what are you trying to get out your car, and what will you be using it for?

Sorry for posting under 2 different names, i couldnt figure out my new account name....but my car is an 01 trans am A4, all stock.....all i have right now is an air lid, an a flowmaster catback which came with the car....a few people suggested i start with longtube an y pipe....i figured that would kill my bottom end power.....its a daily driver so i just want a lil bit more power than stock.....to make a long story short...my brother has an 06 trailblazer ss(its stock) and i wanna be able to smoke em whenever.....we havnt raced yet cuz he stays in texas but when he does drive it to memphis, i wanna be able to spank off on em

I don't know a lot about trailblazers but id hope that u could kick his ass pretty good if ur both stock. Cam and headers are the way to go I'd say. Or NO2 if you're up for it but I'm no expert.

STALL forsure+ lts and exhaust

3600 is totally doable for a DD. From everything Ive heard and seen and read most guys that DD a 3600 wish they had gone bigger

Start witha lid and then do a convertor and exhaust and you will be in the 12's with a good 60' and you won't just beat but bitchslap that heavyass TBSS....

Just a few bolt ons should get you where you want. Tires will be your biggest help because the trail has all wheel drive. Stock both the ta and the sstrail run about 13.5 in a 1/4mile

I would also add some big, meaty, sticky tires!! Not for torque, but for putting all the power down!
