Default Head and Cam Kit

I have a 99 ss camaro and I was wondering if I could put Stg 2.5 5.3L Heads & MS3 Cam on the stock block. If not what would I have to do to be able to put these on?

Make sure you don't have to flycut the pistons.

Yup. Check ptv clearance. Email TSP for more details on the build you want to have.

Most of the sponsors can tell you a cam to go with there heads, just don't change the advance which can affect the PV clearance.

With something that close on PTV, I would ALWAYS check... Regardless of what someone tells you. It is simple to do and well worth it.
With that said, you shouldn't run into any problems.

You'll be fine. I have the Stage 2.5 5.3 L Heads and Torquer V3 with 7.425 pushrods and no issues whatsoever. Direct swap indeed.

This is the most over used cam in the fbody's ..its not needed to flycut only when u get up around and passed the ms4 and trex is it needed, the ms3 just isn't big enough to do so.

tell TSP what cam you want and they will set the heads up to work with that cam.what stall and gears do you got?the biggest cam ain't the fastest car.I see great results with the torquer v2.

That combo will work just fine as long as the heads are built for that cam. Let us know when ordering and we'll get you fixed up. Feel free to give us a call and we can run over your goals for the car and make sure you get exactly what you are wanting as well as the supporting mods to go along with your heads/cam combo!
